My time at the 2010 Fray.
I have to say without a doubt that this year was the most enjoyable Fray for me. Being able to help my teammates to their first Fray Team Championship was most rewarding. The look on their faces when we won was priceless. Many thanks to Glen Schneiderman and Greg Kondrek for inviting me to be on their team.
Well what can I say about Walter McClurg that has not been already said about him. The guy is a fantastic driver and a super cool dude. Did I forget to mention that he has been the number one driver for the last two Frays during the team competition.
Our last driver was Paul Weir who came back to the Fray after a three year absence. He literally came to the track after getting off from work and started racing in the individual competition without any practice and proceeded to mow down racers until he was eliminated after 11 complete races. If I remember correctly I believe it was the car needing oil in the bottom hole that did him in.
All of our cars were equipped with Terminator Tires and UltraFast Crown Gears. The tires worked great from the get go and none of the cars had to have their tires replaced for the entire Fray. For example, the car that Paul Weir ran in the individual race competed the rest of the Fray event with the same pair tires.
